Carolina's Game To Win

Now that they have so many bowl games 34 in all in order to get them all in one is being played Sunday night. It will be going up against the Panther and Giants. I wonder who will get the ratings?

Listening to all of the experts on all the networks today I think most think the Panthers will win. If you go by who is playing better right now then the Panthers will win but in the NFL how you did last week or over the last month last until kickoff time tonight.

So far I am 2-2 on the first day of the bowl blitz.

The Nash County Christmas tournament is on the front side of Christmas this year. It begins tomorrow at Nash Central high school. The Lady Gryphons will kick off the action at 2.00om agsainst Northern Nash.

Since the boys are playing Friday and next week in the Glaxo Tournament in Raleigh Bunn has come from outside of the county to fill in for the Gryphons this week.

I will be there Tuesday night to do both of the championship games for the Stretchlon Sports show.

Tashawn Mabrey after scoring 37 against Goldsboro Thursday night has moved past Buck Williams in second place as the Gryphons second leading scorer all time. He still needs about 600 to catch Phil Ford which at his average as he has now at 26 per game that would be near January next year barring any type of injury.

I know a lot of people are talking of going to the Glaxo Tournament to watch the Gryphons play Friday. I understand there is no pre sale of tickets only at the door for $10 for all games that day.

If the San Diego Chargers fail to make the playoffs this year it sure won't be because of Philip Rivers. Today he has his first four touchdown game and zero interceptions as he now has 32 touchdowns and only 11 ints. That's not good enough to be on the pro bowl team. He needs less than 200 yards next week for his first 4,000 yard passing season in the NFL.

Heading to church for our Christmas musical from our choir at Sunset Avenus Baptist church and home for a front row seat to watch the Panthers.
