State Championship Football tickets are on sale at the office at Rocky Mount High School Now. The tickets are 9 dollars. If you wait to buy them at Kenan Stadium they will be 10 dollars. There is still time to reserve your seat to ride a bus to Chapel Hill Friday sponsored by the Gryphon booster club to see The Gryphons play. The ride is $25.00 per seat.
Entry into Kenan Stadium will be through Gate 3 for all Gryphon Fans with pre purchased tickets as the Gryphons will be the visiting team which is off of Stadium Drive which is a left turn off Highway 54 near the stadium. The Gryphons will sit in North sideline.
Can't go but you want to watch the Gryphons?. Time Warner Cable has the TV broadcasting rights but since they are not 100% in every cable system in North Carolina they must provide availability to all in NC. If you go on line to TWCsportschannel.com and click on the NCHSAA logo Friday the Rocky Mount /South Point will be the only choice to click on.
The Carolina Panthers survived a real test from the New Orleans Saints. Four more games to perfection. The winners of the NFL South for the third straight year. Had another good week going 11-5 first time this year having gotten over ten correct two weeks in a row. Total for the season has risen to 111-81.
Falcons 6-6 @ Panthers 12-0: Falcons won their first six and now lost six in a row. Panthers need to make sure they stay healthy. Panthers 34 Falcons 26
Vikings 8-4 @ Arizona 10-2: One week Vikes look great, next week like rest of NFL. Zona at home will be tough to beat when they are home. Cardinals 26 Vikes 20
Bills 6-6 @ Eagles 5-7. This is a pick'em. Neither one is very good. Eagles 28 Bills 23
Seattle 7-5 @ Ravens 4-8: Just maybe the hottest team is Seattle. Ravens like most other teams beat down with injuries.
49er's 4-8 @ Browns 2-10: Browns probably worse team in NFL. SF 23-17
Titans 3-9 @ Jets 7-5: Jets still fighting for playoffs. Jets Win 27-22.
Lions 4-8 @ Rams: Lions playing better Rams struggling from poor quarterback play. Lions 27-17
Steelers 7-5 @ Bengals 10-2: Steelers need to win while Bengals still playing for the AFC bye. Bengals 35 Steelers 31.
Colts 6-6 @ Jaguars 4-8: Colts still fighting with the Texans for playoff spot. Can't afford to lose this one. Colts 27 Jags 24
