The NFL is just like any other league there is just no way to judge from one week how life really is. When teams reach about the sixth game trends will have developed. Last night Peyton Manning throws seemed to float and it didn't take long for three int's and several passes that looked simply not very strong passes.
Denver is paying Manning top dollar and if this trend continues it will be a trend that will not please Denver fans as the year moves forward. Every player has a bad game now and then but after several neck operations Manning doesn't seem to be any where near 100% healthy.
I have no idea what the NHL is thinking trying to have a work stoppage when the economy of our country is in the state it is in right now. How can owners or players billionaires and millionaires argue what a tough life the other is trying to do to the other when more than 8% of the people are unemployed.
Last night Northern Nash soccer won one of the biggest games that they have won in several years when they beat Hunt in the first conference game of the season. Hunt in soccer is like Notre Dame is in football, this year they might not be as strong as they have been in the past but beating Notre Dame or Hunt is soccer is monumental.
All talk radio is talking today about is about thee refereeing so far in the NFL. Yes there has been plenty of calls that didn't seem to be called but everyone seems to forget that if the regular refs were there they would be complaining about their calls too.
