Jalen Hendricks of Nash Central has been voted the Offensive player of the year in the Big East.  The other side of the ball on the defense Josh Sessoms of Southern Nash was the Defensive player of the year.  Somewhat of a surprise the coach of the year was split with Tom Nelson of Fike and Kevin Crudup of Nash Central .  Most of the time the conference champions coach get that honor which would be Randy Raper of one game loser Hunt.

Fike was able to get seven spots on the team while  Southern Nash had Tracy Coppedge joining Josh Sessoms, Terron Huffman, Alonte Thomas, Molik Harris, Roderick Dunston, Matt Boswell and Moses Trejo.

Northern Nash has five on the team Darius Perry, Quay Mann. Tevin Marshall, Marquez Farmer and Michael Dickins.  Rocky mount has four that makes all Big east in Mason Hines, Nah'jerelle Graves, Rodquez Greene and Darryn Lewis.

Monday begins the Nash County Christmas Tournament this year at Southern Nash.  The first round matchups have Nash Central  girls (5-0) going up against the home team Southern Nash (1-2).  The big match up of Unbeaten Northern Nash  (4-0) against Rocky Mount(5-1).
