Trick Shot Goes Viral

I don't know whether you have seen the trick shot by the Campbell University Golf Management team but I think every network has had this trick as a high light in the last couple of days.  Nine players each line up a golf ball all in a row  and each putts his own ball.  The guy  nearest to the cup is maybe two feet while the fartherest is about twenty feet from the golf hole.

They each at the same time take their back swing on the putt and stroke the balls at the same time.  The trick to this Conga line putt is that each ball must stay at about the same speed as the ball in front of the other or one ball will hit the one in front of it.  All nine players stroke their putts and they have made the cup a little deeper than a normal golf cup so all nine ball will go down in the hole.  They all nine strike their balls as the first falls in the cup the other eight keep going until all nine are in the cup.

Do you know how hard one twenty foot putt is to make just by itself.  Add eight more balls all in a row and that is not an easy trick at all.  The funny thing is that the world of video  is that you don''t get a chance to see the other twenty seven tries until all nine balls go in the hole in order.  It is on the Campbell U website,CNN, Fox, ABC Good morning America.

We are smack dab in the middle of the week off for Big East basketball teams before the playoffs start next week.  How will the seedings go is any bodies guess. There are 14 3-A or 3-A/2A leagues in the state.  As of today here is what looks like the top seeded teams in the East.

NE Coastal- Hertford County 10-11
Waccamaw-  North Brunswick  16-7
