Regardless of the girls outcome they play Northern Friday for the conference crown unless Northern slips up and loses one of the two games they have before Friday. If they were to get slipped up on it would be tonight at Fike. Wednesday they play Nash Central and finish up Friday at Rocky Mount.

If you have been on the "Gryphon Grapevine" this week then you have seen the 2011 Gryphon football schedule. The Gryphons open with three straight road games. If you consider that they had seven of eleven on the road last year and the last game in 2009 was at Northern then by the third game of next year's schedule Rocky Mount will have played 11 of 15 road games.
