Nash Central girls rode to Hertford County and came away with a 56-55 win
Southern Nash boys who has played very well since Christmas but has had a hard time with Rocky Mount traveled to Southern Wayne and the Firebirds live to play another day as they won 57-51 over the Saints. They will now head northeast on Wednesday traveling to Hertford County a 72-45 winner over Southern Vance. The fourth member of the Big East boys Hunt traveled to South Central and lost 59-49.
Not a bad night at all for the Big East as the boys went 3-1 and the girls 2-0 and of course in the other game played each other so three boys teams and three girls teams are still alive to play Wednesday.
