Next Week's Bowl Blitz

There are now so many Bowl games that we are going to pretend that if you play in one before Christmas we are going to act like you don't exist.  It is easy   to feel that way when all the teams we care about play after the 25th.  So let's see if we can make it through the hundred that are left to pick.

Zaxby's Heart Of Dallas Bowl:  Thanks for telling me where this one is played cause I wouldn't know otherwise. Illinois  is a 17 point favorite over  Ship Holtz's team Louisiana Tech.  If that is so I'll take Illinois.  That would be major upset if Techsters win .  Ill 38 Tech 24

Quick Land Bowl:  Feel like I'm getting oil change.  North Carolina and Rutgers in Detroit.  Feel like Carolina may Kick up their Heels in this one but it will be close.  Carolina 26 Rutgers 24

Bitcoin St Petersburg Bowl  Tough draw for Pack playing team that beat ECU in Greenville. Sometimes you have to pick with your heart when your mind says different.  Almost a home game for USF.  Pack 31 UCF 28

Military Bowl:  Cincinnati and Virginia Tech.  Most unreliable team in college football Virginia Tech playing in Annapolis.  Can't trust Hokies  Cincinnati 24 Tech 20

Hyundai Sun Bowl:  Duke and Arizona State.  I think the Blue Devils are  over matched in this one.  ASU38 Duke 28

Duck Commander Independence Bowl:  I see every body that attends this game will have long unshaven beards.  This is really good matchup of team that didn't come close to expectations  Miami in squeaker over Steve Spurrier and South Carolina. 30-28

New Era Pinstripe Bowl:  BC and Penn State.  Yankee Stadium is half way for both schools and B C ground game wins it.  28 24

Russell Athletic Bowl:  Oklahoma and Clemson.  I think qb for Clemson is healthy and when he played Clemson was top ten team.  Clemson 38 Oklahoma 31

Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl:  Notre Dame and LSU.  LSU all the way in this one.    LSU 27- ND 10

Belk Bowl:  Georgia and Louisville.  If Todd Gurley had of been healthy might have wanted to see this one but he's not  so I'm staying home.  Georgia wins 41-35

Capital One Bowl:  Mississippi State and Georgia Tech.  Another good game I like Tech with the wishbone.   23-16

Lockheed Martin  Armed Forces Bowl;  Not related to Military Bowl.  Houston and Pittsburgh.  Panthers will sneak this one out.    Pitt 27- Houston 25

Birmingham Bowl:  ECU and Florida. Don't know if new Florida coach will be on the sidelines or not but if you play for  Florida and are not graduating then you are applying  for a place to play next year.  Florida 44 ECU 34.
