Due to the fact that Hertford County Schools were dismissed early today due the the Tornado watch in the area the boys game Hertford County High and Rocky Mount High has been move to Saturday at 1pm.
NCHSAA Policy states that any school that dismisses early during the day because of weather factors cannot play in a sporting event that night. I hope you understand that the officials and citizens in Hertford County are skiddish at this point when the word tornado is mention after the April tornado's ripped through Hertford County last year with the lost of life. Officials played it safe and sent everyone home.
The girls game is still on for tonight between Northern Nash and Rocky Mount game time is still 6pm.
