The 2016 high school football season was an hour late getting started tonight as some how or other the crew set to officiate the game was told the game was rained out and by the time inquiries were made as to where the crew was they were an hour late getting in the house.
South Granvile wish it had of been delayed even more as the first offensive play a crushing blow by the Gryphon defense forced a fumble recovered at the Viking 17 yard line. Unfortunately for the losing side and the 2nd and 3rd stringers for the winning side this game does no good. With a continuous running clock when the deficit reaches 35-0 then the bench (who works hard during the week) get very little playing time. RMT has outscored S. Granville 93-0 over the last two years (and last night was without it's best defensive player and Division 1 recruit). Time to reschedule a stronger opponent than 2A Granville.
