Babe Ruth 13's Knocked Out

Nash County's Babe Ruth 13 year old team will finish second in the Eastern State Finals Of Babe Ruth 13 year old baseball as they ran into a Lumberton team that twice has knocked Nash County for a loop.  Monday Lumberton won their first opportunity to win the title didn't mess with any chances of having to play Nash County twice  and take the title away from them as they take down NC 12-2 after having beaten NC 11-2 on Saturday.  Lumberton goes through the tournament undefeated.

This past weekend got a moment to speak to Terrell Hudgins and asked him what his prospects were now that the NFL seems to be getting ready to get back to Business.  Once again this year Terrell will try his luck as a free agent and when ever the NFL gets back to business the top priority will be signing players before they become free agents.  May be next week before we hear where Terrell might be heading to try out  in the NFL this year.

It will be very interesting to see if there is now any interest in Stephan Virgil after he was a member of International Federation Of American Football team member on the winning USA team that won the World Championship this past weekend in Vienna Austria.  Most NFL scouts had nothing else to do but scout the only games going the Indoor football or the IFAF.

Nash Central's Exzavier Macklin got to preform in front of a few of the home folks last week as a van load and another car load made a trip to Hagerstown Maryland where X's team was playing.  X is 11th in the league batting 322 and leads his team the Vermont River Monsters.

Yep looks like the NFL is just around the corner.  I think we all knew that when money started dropping out of everyone's pocket  this thing would end.  The other  end of the spectum the NBA players are intimating that they may go to Europe and play next year.  I wonder what happens to their contract the first one that falls down with a broke leg and is out for a year.
