It looks as if the pendulum is swinging back in the other direction. I don't see Notre Dame football having flourished as an independent the last twenty years. If Texas A&M gets mad with Texas would they continue to play them if Texas was an independent. Despite how big Football is Notre Dame having to be in the Big East for all other sports is going to be the same problem if Texas goes independent.

Tiger is back as he starts the PGA after being sidelined with injuries. The greatest player of the past 15 years is going to win a few more tournaments as he ages but we will never see the Tiger of five years ago again. I think he will be good enough to finish in the top 25 every week but that old putter that ten years ago he never missed a ten foot putt is gone.
