High School Practices A Lot Of Sweat.

It doesn't matter the sport this is the first week of fall sports practice and regardless of whether you are inside or out, man it is hot.  There has already been a death of a high school player in South Carolina and two in Georgia this week and to this point no cause of death is known.

I see that the first Big East poll of the year has Hunt as the #1 team in Big East football.  I can't argue with that as as long as Randy Raper has been the man at Hunt you can almost count on them going 8-2 every year.  Northern Nash has been slated to finish second  and once again I see no reason why they won't finish second or better.  Southern Nash was picked third, Rocky Mount Fourth and Nash Central fifth.  What has happened at Nash Central to drop them to fifth?  I believe I would flip flop Central and Southern.

The Nash County Schools have dropped the Nash County Volleyball Tournament this year,  Rocky Mount looking to find a way to do better than a first or second round exits will start the year by playing D H Conley and South Central in four of their first six matches.    Coach Tabitha Wilcox is hoping the tougher schedule will help the Lady Gryphons for the playoffs.  Good news for them they will be taller and more athletic this year and tall in the playoffs have always been their downfall.  Still not that tall  when compared to the Conley's of the world  this just might be Tab's best team even though their regular season record may not show it after the tougher schedule.

Decision time is at hand and time for Brian Goodwin to either sign with the Washington Nationals or play his junior year at South Carolina.  It seems Washington hasn't signed any of their top three picks.

What kind of espionage is going on at Carolina.  Someone has broken into the office of the Honor court where players college files are kept.  Is there something in those papers that will incriminate Carolina even more with the NCAA.  Is it someone from Duke or State playing a prank on the Heels making it look bad for Carolina.  CBS should get the TV rights to this show and follow the Young and the Restless with this in the afternoons.  This is almost as exciting as the intrigue as to who killed Dianne on Y&R.
